In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
Pour the sauce into the skillet with the beef and stir to combine.
Let the beef mixture simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
