Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef (85% lean)
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup beef broth or water (optional, for a little extra moisture)

Instructions
 

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the diced potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to crisp and soften.
  • Push the potatoes to the side of the skillet and add the ground beef.
  • Cook the beef, breaking it up as it browns, for about 5–7 minutes.
  • Stir in the diced onion and garlic, cooking for another 2–3 minutes until softened.
  • Sprinkle in paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together.
  • If using, add the beef broth or water to the skillet and stir to combine.
  • Let the mixture simmer for another 5–7 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend and the potatoes to fully cook.
  • Once the potatoes are tender and the beef is fully cooked, serve hot and enjoy!
