Push the potatoes to the side of the skillet and add the ground beef.
Cook the beef, breaking it up as it browns, for about 5–7 minutes.
Stir in the diced onion and garlic, cooking for another 2–3 minutes until softened.
Sprinkle in paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together.
If using, add the beef broth or water to the skillet and stir to combine.
Let the mixture simmer for another 5–7 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend and the potatoes to fully cook.
Once the potatoes are tender and the beef is fully cooked, serve hot and enjoy!
